My site, which has been designed by Creator Design, has been a great success so far.... Why?

The site turned out to be a big and pleasurable project for myself and for the designers. This site not only includes my artworks such as drawings or paintings, but the whole site has become during its development an artwork itself.

At the beginning of the project, a detailed layout of the site was worked out until both parties (client and designers) agreed on it. From that moment onwards Creator Design put a lot of effort into completion of the project. Every detail has been considered... from the choice of colours up to the layout of each page.

After each completed step, Creator forwarded the results to me for inspections and further suggestions. If suggestions were made by me, Creator did not hesitate to implement them unless they considered them to be "nonsense". Each page was only "ticked" as completed when both parties were happy with the result.

Working together with the Creator team has been a great pleasure. I felt throughout the whole project a healthy balance between the client and the designers.

Queries were answered promptly and the advice given by Creator with regards to the look and the promotion of the site has always been a great help. There was no need for me to worry about the outcome of the project since I was assured that everything had been taken care of.

Furthermore, I need to mention that the majority of creative input for the site were suggestions made by David and Marius, whose ideas were innovative and original.

David and Marius designed a new website for me last year. I set out my brief: I wanted a gallery site to show my photographs that I was able to populate myself. I knew what look I wanted for my site and Creator were able to interpret my ideas into a user friendly and impressive site.

As with all new websites there were a few technical teething problems but these were quickly and professionally rectified.

I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a dynamic and contemporary website.

Working with Creator was a pleasure. We were very keen to make sure the look of the site resembled the look of our high street store so as to keep the brand consistent.

The timescales for building the site were, at best, pretty tight. We had already set a launch date and had started marketing this before we had even given Creator the final creative brief so we were all under pressure to deliver.

The guys delivered 110%, they worked day and night to get the site just right for the launch which was fantastic. The website is one of our best sales and marketing tools and without Creator we would not have progressed to where we are now!

I first met the Creator team though a friend in the performing arts/visuals scene who immediately recommended them as people who were forward thinking and liked a challenge.

The initial meeting was arranged and I went to the Creator offices to put my idea forward. I was probably a really difficult client as I own and run a cleaning company which is not an easy thing to make interesting!! I wanted a small easy to use website which had to look very slick and quite corporate, I was on a budget so the idea would be to start with a small 3 page site and build on that later. The meeting was very informal and we basically just had a chat about what I did what I wanted and how we would achieve this. I had had some very small pieces of artwork designed by a friend and this was the basis around which the Creator team worked. Again not being particularly creative myself I was unsure about what could be done and how to do it. David and Marius assured me that everything that I wanted was possible and that the problems were surmountable. An example of this was that I didn't actually have any pictures for the site as my clients were not prepared to let me photograph their homes. David went to an online gallery where you can purchase photographs and selected three or four excellent shots which captured exactly what I was looking for.

After the initial meeting there were various e-mails and telephone conversations to clarify bits and pieces but I essentially let them get on with it. They were however always available to talk to for reassurance or guidance. I also needed some proof reading done on my text for the site and they put me in contact with a very useful guy who jazzed up my fairly plain text to give it a more commercial feel. I forget the actual amount of time that it took from start to finish but it fitted in exactly with my plans for the launch of the company, there were no delays/excuses/apologies and the whole process was carried out in a very professional fashion.

I am exceptionally happy with the end result and it has made a significant difference to the way I market my company because I use the website as the hub from which all advertising stems. I also intend to use the Creator guys in the future to expand upon the site. In the meantime they are always happy to tweak bits and pieces such as telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.

Overall a very pleasant experience; especially these days where bureauracy and automated services rule our lives it is very nice to be able to reach someone on the end of the phone who not only has time to talk to you but also takes an interest in what you want rather than what is going to make them more money. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our web development officer had left the company just a few weeks previous and we needed to make some widescale design changes to the site in line with our new brand identity.
