JA Furniture

Inspired from a young age by his father, who was a sculptor and architectural model maker, Jeremy Armstrong has been designing and making furniture for 20 years, working to commission for clients all over the world.

He works mainly but not exclusively with wood and sources sustainable timbers such as Oak, Elm, Cherry, Walnut, Yew and Sycamore, steering clear of tropical hardwoods. Wood is a natural material and varies in its appearance and behaviour, no two pieces are the same.

Even in a very simple design the colour and patterns create depth and movement.

quote
My intention for the website was to have an online portfolio of my work for prospective clients to see the style and quality of the furniture I produce. I wanted the site to reflect the uncomplicated nature of my designs and to be easy to use, both of which I feel have have been achieved. Once I had provided the images and text, it was a swift and painless process [for me] getting the site up and running, although a lot of hard work went into it.

Being someone who rarely uses a computer and also has difficulties promoting my own work, I had to overcome certain hurdles to complete the site, but it was made a lot easier with the help and support of Creator.

I feel the site has increased my potential client base and provided me with a useful marketing tool.quote
